Gallery Buktenica & Buktenica, situated at the centre of Grohote, is a rapresentative artistic space with a permanent exhibit of the two most famous painters of Šolta´s naïve art: Eugen Buktenica Đenko (1914 – 1997) and his heir Vicko Buktenica who ,here, according to Eugen´s will created Memorial home and Gallery, and founded the Arts Association and continued the painting tradition.

This is the place where generations meet, place of specific coloring, creation, inspiration, place where tradition and modernism join together, place of creative art workshops, friendship, exhibitions, art colonies, humanitarian drives, and diferent social events – unavoidable part of cultural route in the tourist offer of Šolta.

Working hours during the summer season : 09:00 – 13:00 , or according the agreement
